10 15. Nov 11, 2016. #21. Ok, this is what we have for E90 manual seats with heat. I'm assuming 8 and 9 are power, 1 is the signal from the hvac module or whatever in the dash that the e90 switch ribbon cable connects to, and 5 is some sort of unloader signal for ignition startup. The arrows are the pins that exist, and "P" are passenger seat only.
The difference with the X3 apparently is that the heating elements are bonded to the seat fabric/leather to some extent. Since the entire leather assembly must be replaced, this is what becomes costly. The heating elements independently are not a big deal, but the leather components are. I think it's $1600 US per seat in the front, not
the power for seat and memory have their own socket. same place between seats. (the additional wires for the heating is an extra socket in the seat connectors). Heated seats, purchased on a subscription basis, will cost British drivers £10 a month, the equivalent of about $12. There were numerous media reports this week about BMW launching the program in
I'd like to get heated seats as it does actually get cold in Austin, despite what people think My Google-fu, which isn't super strong, leads me to believe that these seats already have the heaters installed, but they're just not wired up and there's obviously no button on the control panel in the center console.BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum > BMW E90/E92/E93 3-series General Forums > General E90 Sedan / E91 Wagon / E92 Coupe / E93 Cabrio > Seat won't move, how to get control. module out? In the attached INPA screen, 0% of the air is being directed through the heater core on either side; Mixed Air Flap, Right & Mixed Air Flap, Left: BOTH = 0%. That is full cooling mode. YOU want to see (at 28C Thermostat setting on each side) 100% for BOTH those flaps, meaning ALL air is going through Heater Core. .
